The NavigateCancer Foundation (NCF) is a national, non-profit organization solely dedicated to providing free tools and services to cancer patients to promote self-advocacy.
As you already know, cancer is a daunting and difficult diagnosis to deal with on its own. But when combined with a complex healthcare system and the increasing barriers of cancer care gaps, fewer resources, and health care disparities, the situation leaves cancer patients overwhelmed, confused and looking for more help.
Physicians are also facing challenges from the innumerable and sometimes unfair constraints which are disabling them from completely caring for their patients as they would like to.
The NavigateCancer Foundation is a free resource that helps minimize the impact of these issues on physicians, cancer patients and families. The NavigateCancer Foundation is a gateway for patients and doctors to bridge the healthcare gaps by providing easily accessible services for all patients of the national cancer community.
We do this by providing tools and services that educate, clarify and guide patients to make the best possible decisions for themselves. Our flagship service is providing guidance through NavServices. Patient navigation has emerged as a means to help cancer patients in difficult and complex circumstances.
